Environmental policy ( General Statement of Policy)

This company will control its activities in such a manner so as to avoid causing unnecessary or unacceptable risks to the safety and health of its employees, clients and the general public. The effects on the environment will be minimised as far as is reasonably practical. Responsibility for safety, health and the environment is ranked equally with that of production sales and finance.

The objectives of the Policy are:

• To Promote standards of safety, health and welfare that, as a minimum, comply fully with the terms and requirements of current legislation, especially the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and all other relevant codes of practice.
  
  

• To develop health, safety and environmental awareness and individual responsibilities for health, safety and environment amongst employees at all levels.
  
  

• To provide all employees with adequate and suitable information, instruction, training and supervision that they require to work safely and effectively.
  
  

• To encourage full and effective consultation on health, safety and environmental issues with management and employees.
  
  

• To maintain a safe and healthy working environment for all employees with adequate facilities and arrangements for their welfare.
  
  

• To prevent nuisance to the surrounding community and so far as is reasonably practicable, avoid damage to the environment.
